With such a tight deadline there was no room for error. We started with a brand new road legal dune buggy, which we had to stretch and remove the roll cage before dressing it to look like the 1970's luna buggy. Once work was completed we had to have a vehicle inspection to ensure the vehicle was still considered road safe, which we thankfully it passed.....the day of the night shoot. Nothing like cutting it fine...

Jay drove round various London landmarks attracting plenty of interest from passers by and the media. The original 1970's luna buggy had a top speed of 8mph. Ours was doing 60mph.

Jay was so impressed with the buggy that he added it to his car collection.
