This ad is one of numerous commercial of an ongoing BT campaign I've been working on for over a year. Because the concept of the campaign involves seeing the real workings of a set I wanted to keep all the light integral to the spaceship. We used lightwire and perspex lightwells within the set and projected the rotating Earth onto a rear projection screen to create the key light. This created true reflections in the window and realtime light on Willem inside the set as the sun rose above Earth.
